RECLAIMING AND MANUFACTURING

Diacrom
rectifies crankshafts up to 8 meters length, 1, and 30 of diameter and up to 7500 kilos.

Previous to applying the process of reclaiming, the crankshaft is cleaned and inspected with Magnaflux. Then it is grinded so as to eliminate any major defect or dimensional irregularities, followed by a second inspection with Magnaflux so as to detect cracks, imperfections or other irregularities in its structure.

The surface to be chrome plated is prepared by the process of Shot Peening so as to eliminate any superficial concentrated stress, followed by Vapor blasting.

The Hard chrome plating process is applied to re-standardize to the crankshafts its original surface finishing or super finishing, resistant to high corrosion and of excellent wear resistant.

It is followed by grinding, welding processes and finally inspected again by Magnaflux and balanced dynamically.

Our special equipment for rotating parts also enables us to machine very large mechanical parts such as: rods, shafts, rotors, rolls and hydraulic rolls and cylinders.
